Loving God, Loving People, Serving Both
Tea . . . and hats
A group of women from Cowan FBC recently donned their best hats and celebrated a Mother’s Day tea with friends at Pelham Church of the Nazarene.
Work Day

Men's Ministry members got together May 1 to spruce up the church for Homecoming.  Bobby Sells is at the top of the ladder, with an assist from John Campbell.  For more pictures, click the "Photos" tab above.
Just uploaded to the church Vimeo page:
1. "The Never-Ending Miracle," an excerpt form Pastor LZ's Homecoming Sunday sermon.
2. A Southern gospel two-fer by the 4 Times Joy quartet.

A bit of noise. . .
A lot of worship. . .
And lives set on fire for God.
Thanks to Eric and Lisa Bradford and the many volunteers who helped make the Ignite Youth Rally a success.

Life’s Greatest Question

Do you know for certain that you will go to Heaven when you die? Would you say that is something you are still working on? One thing you can know for sure is God loves you!  God's Word is clear, either you will spend eternity with God or suffer eternal separation.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved (John 3:16-17).

The Main Thing
The starting point for CFBC is Jesus. Our hunger is to know Him and share His love with those around us. We invite you to know Him and know what it means to be forgiven and truly follow Christ. Life is full of demands, conflicts, struggles and tough decisions. Meeting those challenges takes strength, and that strength can only be found in Jesus Christ, and we unashamedly proclaim Him as Lord! That's why we like to say that CFBC is a great place to belong, filled with loving people ready to welcome you.....We look forward to seeing you this Sunday!
What is Heaven and how do I get there?
What do you think it takes for a person to go to Heaven?  Please review the information found under God's Plan of Salvation icon or if you would like to speak with someone about Eternal Life, please call the church office at 931-967-7506.  One of our Ministry Team members will be glad to hear and answer your questions.
