Love is why!

We want to welcome you to Cowan First Baptist Church!  Thank you for your interest in

our church family.  We look forward to meeting your spiritual needs and providing

opportunities for you to grow in your personal relationship with God and other people.

You are invited to participate in all our worship services, Sunday School, Bible study

classes, and special  activities.

Life’s Greatest Question

Do you know for certain that you will go to Heaven when you die? Would you say that is

something you are still working on? One thing you can know for sure is God loves YOU.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:16-17

The Main Thing
The starting point for CFBC is Jesus. Our hunger is to know Him and share His love with those around us. We invite you to know Him and know what it means to be forgiven and truly follow Christ. Life is full of demands, conflicts, struggles and tough decisions. Meeting those challenges takes strength, and that strength can only be found in Jesus Christ, and we unashamedly proclaim Him as Lord! That's why we like to say that CFBC is a great place to belong, filled with loving people ready to welcome you.....We look forward to seeing you this Sunday!
What is Heaven and how do I get there?
What do you think it takes for a person to go to Heaven?  Please review the information found under God's Plan of Salvation icon or if you would like to speak with someone about Eternal Life, please call the church office at 967-7506 and speak to Ann.  She will direct you to one of our Ministry Team members to answer your questions.
